Today Lehar is best remembered for The Merry Widow, and ‘Magic’ features selection of favourite numbers from this all time hit as well as songs from his less well known operettas such as The Count of Luxembourgh, Paganini, Giuditta and The Land of Smiles.

Set in the ‘Café Lehar’, The Magic of Lehar takes as its starting point various elements found in the plots of operettas such as ambition, flirtation, Misunderstanding and marriage and uses songs taken from Lehar’s shows to illustrate these characteristics, weaving them into a romantic and glamorous musical entertainment full of wonderful melodies, dance and song.
